The [[Planetary Governor]] [[Helmawr]] at the time ignored the Lords at first, until they began gaining support among Necromunda's lower classes. This caused the Lords to become targeted and, in what became known as the [[Last Stand of House Aranthus]], they were attacked by dozens of [[gang]]s, [[Bounty Hunter]]s, [[Palanite Enforcers|Enforcers]] and [[Merchants Guild|Guilder]] agents. Though they and their allies killed scores of the attackers, the Lords were defeated and their territory was lost.{{Fn|1}}
While it is believed the Ogryns were all killed in the battle, rumors rumours persist that the Captain and a few of the bodyguards escaped into the wastes. They are believed to be still there, searching for a true heir to the lost House of Aranthus.{{Fn|1}}
