Agnes and the Battle Sisters were unprepared when the Necrons of the [[Sautekh Dynasty]] suddenly attacked their convent. The Sisters fought back hard, but the Necrons were unstoppable and advanced with superior numbers. As the Sisters were about to be overwhelmed{{Fn|1b}}, Canoness Agnes gave her final order to Sister [[Decima]]: escape the attack{{Fn|1a}} and safeguard the [[Hammer and Anvil]], the personal diary of [[Saint Katherine]]{{Fn|1c}}, from the Necrons. The Canoness and the other Sisters fought and died, to give Decima time to flee the massacre.{{Fn|1a}}
