Corwen Quilp was a Field Notary for the Adeptus Administratum1
Overview
Corwen is a truly dull person with the imaginatino of a filing cabinet and the pedantic attention to detail of a spaceship-spotter; indeed he spends his rest periods writing down the numbers on the sides of spaceships. His utter lack of definable judgment is a boon to his role as a Field Notary, where any sort of notice or involvment would violate his role as an impartial observer. Unfortunately for Corwyn, his work takes him to much more interesting places than shipyards.1
Corwen has a talent for finding himself on the fields of battle. As a Field Notary, his task is to record anything and everything said and done during a battle or campaign: ammunition usage, ration expenditures, suicidal acts of bravery, erroneous errors of tactical judment, which Space Marines fail to pick up spent cartridge cases (which are intended to be re-used for they are expensive to manufacture). Often Corwen gets so involved in recording what is occuring that he fails to notice the enemies which nearly kill him – only saved by the timely intervention of the very individuals he so pedantically audits.1
