During the [[Battle of Belial IV]] Hexachires attempted to crush Bile once and for all, but was foiled due by the Chief Apothecary and the betrayal of his allies. He subsequently was forced to escape once [[Daemon]]s arrived.{{Fn|1b}}{{Fn|1c}}
Hexachires is secretly a follower of [[Ynnead]] and sees awakening the god as the only way to save the Eldar race from its doom. He believes that by instigating the Drukhari to destroy one another, Ynnead's power will be fueled. Those [[Half-born]] born from his amniotic tanks and [[Trueborn]] resurrection tanks have their DNA tweaked to increase aggression and decrease self-preservation and caution. However , Hexachires does not plan to perish with the rest of his kin and sees himself as a shepherd for the galaxy's life after Ynnead awakens.{{Fn|1d}}
