The following is a list of vehicles more predominantly used by the [[Space Marine Legion]]s during the [[Unification Wars]], [[Great Crusade]], and [[Horus Heresy]]. In the ten thousand years since those legendary times, many such vehicle designs have been lost. The [[Adeptus Mechanicus]] are unwilling to recreate them, fearing the wrath of the [[Machine God]]. Throughout the span of time between the Horus Heresy and [[M41]], entire vehicle patterns may be discovered, see considerable use, and then fall into disfavor for many reasons.{{fn|13a}} Some vehicles in current use by the [[Adeptus Astartes]], such as the [[Land Raider]], have been lost and then rediscovered, while other patterns have been handed down between generations for thousands of years with very few changes. {{fn|13a}}
