The 3rd Company has long been given the duty with confronting the most dangerous monsters the [[Imperium]] has to face. To this end, the Company has long emphasised close-range anti-[[Xenos]] combat techniques, often using [[Aggressor Squad]]s and [[Centurion Warsuit]]s, which are sometimes supported by [[1st Company (Ultramarines)|1st Company]] [[Terminator]]s for leading operations against [[Space Hulk]]s.
