The 5th utilizes the third and final [[Trifold Path of Shadow|path of shadow]], vigilance. This was held to be the most important of the three by [[Corax]]. Specializing , and involves specializing in battlefield reconnaissance and countering enemy infiltrators. The 5th has the heaviest greatest access to the Raven Guard's Armoury armoury and uses large amounts of tanks and [[Centurion Warsuit|Centurion centurion suit]]s in battle. Their accuracy of fire is renownrenowned, a result of studying their foes ' weaknesses and habits. The weakness of the 5th is that it tends to brood upon unfolding events, awaiting a perfect moment rather than acting. To try and counterbalance this, the 5th operates the largest formation of [[Jump Pack|Jump Infantryjump infantry]] outside of the 8th Company in order to give them the ability to respond quickly.{{Fn|1b}}
