The creation '''Disciples of Caliban''' are a Successor [[Chapter]] of the [[Dark Angels]] [[legion]], created late in the [[M37|37th millenium]].¹ The Disciples of Caliban are unusual in that [[Chapter Master]] Anaziel of the Dark Angels specifically requested their creationit to the High lords of Terra. At the time, such a request was unheard of and created controversy.¹ The [[gene-seed]] used was examined using standards even more strict than was the standard of [[Adeptus Terra]]. This gene-seed is constantly being monitored for corruption.¹ It is rumored among the [[Unforgiven]] than this chapter was founded with the sole purpose of hunting down and capturing [[Cypher]].¹
