The PAGENAME was a conflict between the Imperium and Chaos forces on Kerrack in late M41. The war's main phase took place in 932.M41,1a though lower-level fighting continued for decades afterward.1b
By the 920s.M41,1b the primitive harvester clans of the Agri-World of Kerrack had launched an uprising against their Imperial overseers, plunging the world into anarchy and war.1a The rebels looted Imperial militariy depots, and grew increasingly powerful.1b
Eventually, it became clear that the rebellion was driven by Charnel Cults.1b These had been organized organised by Warlord Mahaur the Harvester and his Khorne-worshiping Slaughterkin. The ensuing war was fought on foot beneath the dense canopy and air-to-air in the skies above. Large numbers of the native PDF militia turned traitor and began to worship the Chaos Gods. Victory for the Imperium was only achieved when the Star Phantoms arrived in 932.M41 and launched an immediate and devastating attack against the rebel stronghold of Calder's Ark, slaying the Mahaur the Harvester and driving the Slaughterkin from Kerrack.1a
However, the war did not fully end when the Slaughterkin and Star Phantoms departed the planet. Many Charnel Cultists successfully fled into Kerrack's massive forests. From there, they continued a long-lasting insurgency. By the 990s.M41, the insurgents still possessed functioning war machines such as Sentinels and organized organised bloody raids on Imperial outposts.1b
