The Fists of the Damned are not a traditional [[Founding]] Chapter, as they begun as a division of the [[Imperial Fist]] that was thrown into the [[Eye of Terror]] during the [[11th Black Crusade]] by a [[Warp Storm]]. Having arrived undetected, they were able to settle an uninhabited planet, after unstated time they were discovered by [[Chaos]] forces. Lacking means to replenish the Chapter with new recruits the Fists of the Damned are said to be fighting a losing battle.{{Fn|2}}
