Trivia
*It is unclear if the captain-general who presented the Emperor's Sword to Roboute during the Scouring is Constantine Constantin Valdor, or a different captain-general.5a**There is evidence that this captain-general may have been Valdor. As he is mortally wounded by Fulgrim, Roboute Guilliman bemoans that he will not be there to help his brothers Jaghatai Khan or Leman Russ who are still with the Imperium.g Valdor is mentioned as having disappeared around the same time as Leman Russ.6
===Conflicting Sources===*In the first edition of Dark Imperium (Novel), it would be was the active Captain-General following RobouteGuilliman's Awakening who would present presented the Emperor's Sword to Roboute Guilliman following his awakening (possibly Trajann Valoris).57 In the 2nd edition, this was changed to an unspecified Captain General during The Scouring, allowing Roboute Guilliman to wield the Emperor's Sword against Fulgrim at Thessala.5a5b
