Pelegius is a hot desert, with ambient surface temperatures ranging from 28°C at the poles to 64°C in equatorial regions. Pelegius has a significantly higher baseline level of ionising radiation than the [[Terran ]] standard, and the climate is generally inhospitable to [[humans]].
