Its light construction and thick tracks allow the Centaur to handle all kinds of rough terrain. The vehicle is armed with a [[Pintle-mounted Heavy Stubber]] as well and can shuttle [[Guardsmen]] from battle to battle. The Centaur's open-top design allows them to bail out quickly or have enough room to shoot from the vehicle. Because of this and the vital mobility it provides, the Centaur has become a well-liked alternative to the common [[Chimera]] on [[Armageddon]]. It has also become the [[Astra Militarum]]'s ideal vehicle to use against the [[Ork]] [[Speedwaaagh!]]s on the world.{{Fn|1}}
