Graves is a staunch traditionalist, who believes that only ironclad discipline can prevent the [[Imperium]] from being destroyed. Because of this, Graves has developed a reputation of using her [[bolt pistol]] to unleash brutal and direct judgements against any Imperial who has failed her dictates. But the [[Commissar]] also does her duty on the battlefield and will spearhead assaults aboard the ''[[Vigilance (Centaur RSV)|Vigilance]]'', which serves as Graves' personal vehicle. She is joined in battle by her loyal [[Officio Prefectus]] retinue, known as the '''The Right Hand''', who carry the Commissar's personal banner.{{Fn|1}}
