They wear distinctive yellow [[Void Suit (Imperium)|Void-Suits]] and enamelled blue [[Void Armour (Astra Militarum)|Void Armour]], which the Crinan wear in space and on worlds.{{Fn|2}} Their [[Guardsmen]] are also known to be tough and puritanical, but need to be held back from the [[Imperium]]'s enemies. As a result of this, there is not much need for [[Commissars]] to be attached to the Crinan's [[Regiment]]s.{{Fn|1}}
