*Due to their regimental number, their commander being named Scharper, the green jackets they wear, and the term [[Wikipedia:Jäger (infantry)|jager]] being used to describe them, it is possible the 95th Ventrillian are based on the [[Wikipedia:Rifle Brigade (The Prince Consort's Own)|95th Rifle Regiment]] of [[Wikipedia:Sharpe (TV series)|Sharpe]] fame, with Major Scharper being based on [[Wikipedia:Richard Sharpe (fictional character)|Major Richard Sharpe]] himself.
