Scratcha, also known as The Instigator, was one of the lucky [[Grot]]s to take up the name of the legendary hero [[Da Red Gobbo]]. A natural born killer,{{Fn|1a}} Scratcha had the grit to lead a large job of [[Rebel Grots]] in an audacious plan to cement the infamy of Da Gobbo and Da Revolushun.{{Fn|1b}}
At some point the Instigator had managed to take command of an Imperial ship, a [[Space Hulk]], which still hosted rusting servitor defences. He devised a trap, knowing that some unfortunate [[Ork]]s would inevitably bumble into it.{{Fn|1a}} The plan was not to kill the Orks, at least not all of them, but to expose them to the Truth.{{Fn|1b}} Gradually, his devices whittled down the boarding party before he sent his Grots to attack. After some tricks with the ship's airlock, he drew the last two invaders into the sanctum, where they found The Instigator and a very large bomb.{{Fn|1c}}
With the living daylights scared out of them, [[Stimma]] the [[Painboy]] and [[Aznab]], leader of the [[Freebooter]] crew fled the Space Hulk, the parasite of Da Revolushun embedded into their brains, such as they were.{{Fn|1c}} A seed was planted that would bear fruit much later.{{Fn|2}}
Scratcha died on his own terms, for the cause he believed in, an end to hierarchy.{{Fn|1b}} Da Red Gobbo, however, would live on.{{Fn|1c}}
