It is said that Messelina witnessed the fall of [[Komaris]], the Imperial bastion of the Moebian Fringe, and shed tears when witnessing its fall. A moon near Komaris, [[Messelina Gloriana]], would become a minor [[Shrine World]] bearing her namesake. Many shrines dedicated to her would be built on the world.{{Fn|2q}}{{Fn|2b}}
There is no mention of [[Ogryn]]s in [[Caladoc]]'s ''[[Life of Saint Messelina]]''. Some think this might indicate that the vat-grown strain of Ogryn had not yet been introduced to the [[Moebian Domain]] during Messelina's lifetime.{{Fn|2g}}
