Grenadier Regiments consist of highly trained heavy infantry formations, adept at handling [[grenade]]s, [[grenade launcher]]s and other explosion explosive devices. While they are sometimes deployed en -masse as powerful heavy shock troops, oftentimes they are also often mixed with in with other infantry units to serve as heavy fire support.{{Fn|17a}}
