The '''''Praes Vindicta''''' is an [[Emperor Titan]] in of the [[Legio Pallidus Mors]].{{Fn|1}}  

It has served the [[Titan Legion]], since [[Legio Pallidus Mors]] had left [[Mars]] with [[Adeptus Mechanicus]] colonists, who later arrived in the [[Khaldun Sector]]. The ''Praes Vindicta '' then aided in conquering the [[Sector]] for the [[Imperium]] and [[Tolkhan]] became the Legio's [[Forge World]]. Centuries later, the [[Emperor Titan]] would be among the Imperial forces that aided in defending Khaldun from the [[Craftworld]] [[Riellen]], in late [[M41]]. The [[War for the Khaldun Sector]] saw many of its the sector's worlds fall to the Craftworld and as the Imperium sought to reclaim them, the ''Praes Vindicta '' was sent to the conquered world [[Eryx]]. However , as the Emperor Titan and its escorting [[Knight]]s and [[Adeptus Mechanicus]] forces neared the world, their [[Pegasus Transport]] , ''[[Arca Novem]] '', was shot down by the Craftworld's forces.{{Fn|1}}  While many of the transport's passengers survived the crash landing on Eryx, the ''Praes Vindicta'' was left trapped within the ''Arca Novem''. This prevented the Titan from aiding in the defence of the transport when the Riellen [[Farseer]] [[Tilwen]] led the Craftworld's forces to destroy the ''Novem''. He knew the ''Praes Vindicta'' was aboard the transport and hoped to destroy the ''Novem'', as the loss of the Emperor Titan would be devastating for the [[Imperium]]. However, the [[Knight]] [[Baron]] [[Jaromar]] and the [[Magos|Maghi]] [[Stilich]] and [[Aclys]] led the transport's defenders in fending off all of Riellen's attacks. Soon Imperial reinforcements from elsewhere on Eryx began arriving to save the besieged transport and this caused the Craftworld's forces to flee. However, while the ''Praes Vindicta'' also survived the battle, it would need six months of repair work before the Emperor Titan could be deployed into the War for the Khaldun Sector again.{{Fn|1}}
