==History==
During the opening stages of the [[Horus Heresy]] a delegate from the Legio Destructor, [[Princeps]] [[Graine]], was present at the [[Council of Tharsis]] on [[Mars]].{{Fn|1}} The Legion later took part in the war effort at the [[Ruin of Maerdan]].{{Fn|3}} The Legio also took part in the [[Siege of Travo'anor]] alongside maniples of [[Legio Crucius]] and [[Legio Ignatum]].{{Fn|5}} By the time of the Horus Heresy, Legio Destructor was believed to be one the largest titan legions and was able to put more battle-Titans in the field than [[Legio Mortis]].{{Fn|8}}
10,000 years later, the Legio Destructor continues to fight for the Emperor and was seen in the [[Battle of Bastior]] during the [[Fourth Tyrannic War]].{{Fn|6}}
