Hinzerhaus is an ancient fortress built into the side of a mountain on the planet Jago. Hinzerhaus was built long before the Imperium, possibly before the dawn of the species. It was not built by Humans or any known Xeno species.
The fortress is heavily fortified, with sixteen defensive layers of gunboxes and numerous overwatch towers.
The Tanith Frist and Only occupied Hinzerhaus duering the Sabbat Worlds Crusade. The Tanith suffered heavy casualties defending the building from Blood Pact warriors. 47% 0f the regiment was lost and Gaunt was presumed dead at one point.
