The [[Inquisition]] soon declared Thoth ''Amundi Heretica'' and had the world cleansed of all life with [[virus bomb]]s. Al'Rahem campaigned for the N'go to be spared due to the aid they provided, and his requests were granted. The N'go were evacuated, along with genetic samples of the flora and fauna of the planet. After the virus bombing the N'go were returned to the planet.
Though Thoth was virus bombed during the Macharian Crusade, it but is likely now to be habitable again as the effects of the virus bombs have probably worn off in the roughly 600 years since its bombardment. At one point terra forming of the planet was attempted, but due to the fact that the planet was pushed marginally further away from it's sun the temperatures were too low to support more than most rugged of flora or fauna. And so, though Thoth remains both habitable and mostly desert (with small, ever-expanding areas of coniferous forests), it is now a nearly-frozen tundradestruction.
