It is unknown the date of his death but he probably retired at the end of the campaign after the atrocities he had seen.
'''Correcting Note:''' Sejanus is an open flash back character that begins the story of the [[Horus Heresy]]. It should be noted that Sejanus was considered the greatest of captains and only second to [[Abaddon]] in certain skills. He was considered the most handsome and diplomatic balance amongst the other captains. Sejanus, towards the end of the Great Crusades, was hacked down (along with his highest guardmen) by the [[Emperor]]'s most elite guard, "The Invisibles." This is quietly noted as the beginning of things to turn.
