A '''Wave Serpent''' is the [[Eldar]]'s main troop transport. It uses their advanced anti-grav technology to move swiftly across the battlefield, and is protected by powerful energy shields. It is armed with [[twin-linked]] [[Shuriken cannon]]s and [[Shuriken catapult]]s. Some Wave Serpents have been upgraded with additional armaments such as [[Missile Launcher#Eldar Missile Launchers|missile launchers]], [[Bright Lance]]s, and [[Starcannon]]s. Wave Serpents can carry up to 12 troops at a time. Wave Serpents offer defense, firepower, and speed, and are arguably the best transport in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.¹
