A '''Mechadendrite''', aka "Servo-Arm" is a robotic arm used by [[Enginseers]] and other members of the [[Adeptus Mechanicus]]. It assists in heavy lifting, construction and defence. It is connected to the central nervous system of the [[techpriest]], and so is controlled through thought just like a biological limb. Mechadendrites are usually longer than the tech priests priest's other arms and are built like tentacles to allow maximum reach and flexibility. They are constructed from mettalic alloys. Members of the Adeptus Mechanicus from the Enginseer rank and above can are known to have Mechadendrites, and although they often only have one fitted, the theoretical limit of the quantity of these augmetics is only what one could have as many mechadendrites as the body of the tech priest can will support.
