The Whirlwind Artillery Tank is the closest thing Space Marine Chapters Chapters use that would be considered 'artillery'. They are based on the Rhino design, as are most Marine tanks. It mounts a Whirlwind multiple missile launcher on its turret, firing either tactical warheads or rapidly deploying minefields with the special 'Castellan' misslesmissiles. The Whirlwind design is not avalible available to Chaos Space Marines, since the STC Technology technology from which is was derived was discovered after the Horus Heresy.1 ===Hyperios variant===The Whirlwind Hyperios is a rarer version of the standard Whirlwind, designed as an anti-aircraft vehicle. It mounts in place of the standard missile launcher, an anti-aircraft missile launcher designed to target and shoot down enemy aircraft. They are used when Thunderhawk Gunships are not available to defend important positions from air attacks.2
