→Speculation
If the [[Horus Heresy]] novels are taken to be canon then this would technically bring the number of [[Primarchs]] to 21. It is unlikely that Omegon could be one of the 'Missing' [[Primarchs]] as it can't be explained why he was already united with Alpharius prior to being discovered by [[Horus]]. If Omegon is the 21st [[Primarch]] then the [[Emperor]] would have been aware of him, as he would have been created by the [[Emperor]].
An additional speculation is one that concerns the [[Fire Angels]] chapter. It is believed that after Alpharius Omegon was contacted by the Xenos Cabal a successor chapter was formed. The twins had argued over the outcome of either joining or opposing Horus. Omegon proposed leading a separate operation comprised of the Effrit Stealth Squad and a company of marines. The goal was to insure that if the Alpha Legion could not resist the temptations of chaos that Omegon would lead the assault that would end it. After the Heresy began a company of Alpha Legionnaires surrendered themselves to the Emperor on Terra. Knowing of the Alpha Legion’s betrayal the Emperor had the company detained until he could come to a conscience. Locked far below the surface of Terra the Alpha Marines were forgotten until years after the Heresy had ended. With a trail and examination the Alpha Legionnaires were cleared by the Emperor himself, but as a punishment for the traitorous actions of the Legion the Alpha Legion subchapter was sentenced to a thirty year crusade into the Eye of Chaos, where many suspected they would never return. After forty seven years gone missing the Alpha Legion subchapter emerged from the Warp, their ship was shattered and ablaze. Hauled to the Saturn shipyard, the ship was restored and the Mission was deemed a success by the High Lords of Terra. The warp fires that had wrecked ship continue to burn in the engine rooms, there have been reports of powerful psker occurrences caused by or within the flames. The Alpha Legion subchapter were praised and granted the honor of being renamed the Angels above the Flame, latter shortened to the Fire Angels. It has even been said that a Burning Angel has been sighted on the field of war; they say he wields a colossal torch and a shield of flame. They say his armor burns with hatred and his face is blackened with the ash of his incinerated enemies. They say its Omegon returned to find his brother for one final stand. But its all just speculation.
