There are two types of inhabitants on Mordant: the acid miners; and everyone else. The miners, with a very old organization of clans, contract local manual labour paying only enough to allow minimum survival in the shacks of the shanty caverns. Organised crime is rife in these caverns as citizens prey on each other for what little resources they have. In these caverns the violence of the gangs is the only recognized authority.
==Battle Stylestyle==
Regiments of Mordant make excellent tunnel fighters and are typically deployed to combat zones in which their natural affinity with dark and confined spaces can be taken advantage of. Mordant regiments are often destined for nocturnal worlds.
