Ghostwind (Asuryani)

The Ghostwind is a multi Asuryani strike force, that aids the Farseer Eldrad in defending the Webway.^[1]

History

It was created after Eldrad and Farseers from different Craftworlds were struck by apocalyptic visions of the 13th Black Crusade. The Farseers wanted to do something to prevent the tragedies they had foreseen and envoys from their Craftworlds were sent to form a council to discuss the matter. This led to the creation of the Ghostwind, which was pledged to aid Eldrad's efforts in defending the Webway from any threats unleashed by 13th Black Crusade. It is composed of the finest warriors each Craftworld could contribute and is always led by a Farseer. This Farseer in turn, is protected by Warlocks from different Craftworlds. The Ghostwind also does not have a unified uniform, as they instead retain their Craftworld's colors and only wear a black shoulder pad to represent their solidarity with Eldrad. In many ways, it the Asuryani's version of a Space Marine Crusade.^[1]
