Starflare Ignition System

The Starflare Ignition System is a prototype Tau support system.[1]
This system is installed on selected Coldstar Battlesuits, which are augmented with optional feed-selectors. This allows the pilot to release a jet of enriched accelerant upon take-off that allows them to have a sudden burst of speed while leaving nearby enemies to writhe and burn.[1]
