Succession of Purity

The Succession of Purity was an Order of the Wounded Heart warship and served as its strike force's flagship[1a], in Cardinal Astra Leon Chirastes's fleet during the Incursion of Fools.[1b]

The warship was heavily damaged in the fleet's battle[1a] with the Space Wolves[1b] and its not known if the Succession of Purity survived the conflict[1a]. It was a key factor in allowing Cardinal Astra Chirastes to later strike back at the Chapter, as he had deployed a Sensor-vessel to shadow the larger warship. With the Succession of Purity acting as its cover, the Sensor-vessel[1a] was able to gather a list of names of the high ranking Space Wolves who had opposed him. Chirastes later used the list to begin a shadow war against the Chapter.[1b]
