Swooping Hawk Wings
Swooping Hawk Wings are specialized Eldar jump packs used exclusively by the Swooping Hawk Aspect Warriors.[1c]
Composed of vibrating "feather" plates[1b] which emit a distinctive shrieking sound[1a] and incorporate small "Anti-Gravity Gravatic Reaction Lifters"[1a] and "Jet Propulsion Motors".[1c] these wings allow the Swooping Hawk to change the pitch and vibration of the plates forming a blur of colour[1b] which gives the Swooping Hawks their impressive flight speed, manoeuvrability, and ability to glide for long distances even and providing added lift for an increased flight ceiling.[1a] Because they are often painted in vibrant shades, the wings also create impressive multi-coloured patterns while in flight.[1]
Swooping Hawk Wings are also collapsable into a small backpack, a feature useful in situations where a Swooping Hawk might want to avoid excess drag – such as on the back of a Eldar Jetbike.[2]
