Taerwelt Ikasati was a proud member of the Blood Angels Legion's Sanguinary Guard, who took part in the Siege of Terra.[1]

History

When the Emperor led a Teleportation attack on Warmaster Horus' flagship, the Vengeful Spirit, Ikasati was among the Blood Angels Company, that their Primarch Sanguinius commanded. Due to Horus' machinations, however, the strike force's teleportation separated them all and the Blood Angels found themselves alone aboard the flagship. This did not stop them from carrying out the Emperor's attack and Sanguinius led his Company deeper into the Vengeful Spirit. The Sons of Horus would repeatedly attack them in force as they did so and in the aftermath of one such battle, Ikasati realized that his Primarch had been badly wounded. Sanguinius would not be deterred by this, despite the Sanguinary Guard's grave concern, and told Ikasati and the other Blood Angels, that they would not stop their advancements into the Vengeful Spirit.[1]

Following the death of Sanguinius at the hands of Horus, Ikasati fell into the madness of the Black Rage with the rest of the Blood Angels and gruesomely attacked both sides[2a]. However the madness lifted with Ikasati still alive, and the warrior is later seen taking part in a funeral service for Sanguinius alongside Raldoron, Azkaellon, and 500 other surviving Blood Angels.[2b]
