Talk:Ark Mechanicus

I don't like being the stickler, but wouldn't it be best to....not have the most rare, singular, and ancient leviathan of a DAoT ship, be the descriptive format of the Ark Mechanicus types? Ark Mechanicus ships aren't just a single design, they also act as pinnacle designs which get made by the mechanicus with the most advanced or rare tech they have at the moment of creation. Designs which hold a level of prestige so high that even the fabricator general himself cannot demand one without some heavy clout.

The speranza is impressive, no doubt, but it's not close to what most other ark mechanicus vessels are like, hell it's so damn unique that there were very few of its designs when it was made. --ArcherPrime (talk) 02:24, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

I am sure that if you are able to back up your information with precise sources and type out a convincing "Notes" section nobody will object to a mofification of the article. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 07:13, 8 April 2020 (UTC)

About the "Archmagos Lexell Kotov theorized that all Ark Mechanicus secretly contained intact STCs and STC databases"

Where is it said? I lost my digital copy of Forges of Mars when my pc formated (thanks for nothing, One Drive), but I remember reading the Microcontent 07 and I dont remember Kotov making that theory. Anyone got the excerpt of when he says that?--Marvyn7 (talk) 09:34, 18 January 2025 (UTC)

So, I've tried to check, and I think this passage is a misunderstanding of this from microcontent 21:

"All this and more dwelled here, ancient data, forgotten lore and locked vaults where the secrets of the ancients had been hidden. In this one, fleeting glance, Kotov realised he had been a fool to drag this proud starship into the howling emptiness of space in search of hidden secrets.

The Speranza was the greatest secret of all, and in its heart it held the truth of all things, the key to unlocking all that the Mechanicus had ever dreamed. Yet that knowledge was sealed behind impenetrable barriers, bound in the heart of the mighty vessel for good reason. The knowledge of the Men of Gold and their ancient ancestors was encoded in its very bones, enmeshed within every diamond helix of its structure. "

Which doesn't look like hes talking about every single Ark Mechanicus, so I guess that specific part could be removed? -Marvyn7 (talk) 17:39, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
