Talk:Astra Militarum Honours

The majority of medals listed here appear to have the same erroneous source: "Codex: Imperial Guard". I couldn't find any mention or even illustration of them in the 2nd, (both) 3rd and the 5th edition IG Codex. There's no point in merging the articles with that kind of sourcing - instead they should be deleted until someone can provide proper sources. --Digganob 19:18, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

I found the images on my old laptop not long ago. They were images I'd been sent from my local GW store regarding a question on Imperial Guard ranking structure and medals.. deleting the articles would be extreme. Was not sure on the sources in all honesty but thought they MUST have come from any of the Codexes since 3 of them have. --Rabs 23:50 23 August 2009 (PMT)

Merit of the High Lords

Can someone with the source (Imperial Munitorum Manual (Background Book)) verify if this award is reserved for Cadians? I've come across a source that says Kubrik Chenkov (a Valhallan) was awarded one. KazilDarkeye (talk) 20:20, 26 March 2025 (UTC)

"bestowed upon the greatest of Cadian commanders". BUT the whole section explicitly and only deals with the medals won by the Cadian 91st. Meaning that any and all medals described there are only mentioned in conjunction with Cadians.
