During the Horus Heresy, Bubonicus was one of many daemons summoned by Erebus, First Chaplain of the Word Bearers, by a dark ritual conducted during the Battle of Calth, presumably as a prelude to Horus's attack on the Imperial Palace during the Battle of Terra.[3]

Know No Fear doesn't appear to actually mention "Bubonicus" or " in the English edition, although "Mubonicus" is pretty similar in this paragraph:
