Talk:Cato Sicarius
I get the impression that the bulk of this article is a copy/paste from GW work... Also "the assembly" is written like a story, not like something you would find in an encyclopaedia. I think this article should be rewritten to be more like other articles. My 2 cents -- JoeneB, 5 June 2007, 10:58(CEST)

Request combining this with Cato Sicarius
Just awhile ago, I created the Cato Sicarius page.. the problem it appears, is that many current references to Sicarius are referring to him by his full name of Cato Sicarius. I suggest the two pages (Sicarius and Cato Sicarius) links are combined into one article, and clean up from there.--User:Whitefang
Version from Whitefang
Cato Sicarius is the Space Marine Captain of the Ultramarines 2nd Company. Among his titles are Master of the Watch, Knight Champion of Macragge, Grand Duke of Talassar, and High Suzerain of Ultramar. Prior to his induction to the Ultramarines, Sicarius was born in one of Talassar's ascendant houses, and taught in the ways of Talassari nobility, including skills in swordsmanship.
Sicarius has nearly mastered the art of lightning assaults, beyond that of most other Space marines. His skills at leadership, let alone his own acts of heroism has made Sicarius a possible heir to Marneus Calgar's position as the next Chapter Master of the Ultramarines
Side Notes
- Captain Cato Sicarius helmet possesses a Valour Crest, an award only given for near-suicidal acts of bravery. Sicarius won this honor during the 9 day battle for Fort Talendrar, and the colour of the crest are that of the noble house Sicarius was recruited from.
- Sicarius' left shoulder pad is that of the MK2 "Crusade" pattern armor that originally belonged to the legendary Ultramarines Captain Orar. The pauldron incorporates the 2nd Company's heraldry colours, an Iron halo, the Ultramarines Chapter Icon, and a Gold Aquila that marks Sicarius as Grand Duke of Talassar.
- In combat, Sicarius wears the Mantle of the Suzerain, a type of finely crafted Artificer armor, as well as a plasma pistol and the Talassarian Tempest Blade, a power sword which he wields with expert proficiency.
Ygethmor Inaccuracy
The article claims that Sicarius killed Ygethmor and then ordered an Exterminatus on the planet. The first part is false, as it was actually the Eldar Autarch Elarique Swiftblade who killed Ygethmor. But I don't know how to rewrite it, as I cannot check the source. --Cherubael 02:37, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
