Are we absolutely certain that the Champions of Fenris was the 1st Great Company? What if the 1st Great Company eventually evolved into one of the other Great Companies (the Great Wolf is elected from any of the standing Wolf Lords if I recall correctly)? Yeah, in retrospective my addition was premature. The 1st and the Champions use similar heraldry (unlike the other great companies), but that's a flimsy basis. The best option would be to create new articles for the Crusade/Heresy-era great companies (aside of the 13th which has no identification issues). AdeptusExtra11 (talk) 23:49, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
