The Greater Good (Novel)

This section of the article claims the events of this novel take place in 937.M41 (without citation) There are only two dates given in the entire novel. 935.M41 as the date of the recovery of a piece of equipment Cain inspects and 485.992.M41 as the date in which the board of enquiry looks into the loss of ships. While the later date has a specific year fraction, it also then places the novel DURING the events of Vainglorious (Novel) (487.992.M41) thus putting Cain in two different parts of the galaxy at the same time. So it seems unlikely that the board of inquiry is happening the same day those ships are lost, but it also has characters not know things they know by the end of the novel. So surely didnt take them 55 years to have the debriefing. (talk) 01:19, 17 August 2025 (UTC)
