Talk:Constantin Valdor

Can I ask where the source was that states that Constantin Valdor survived the heresy and is still in command to this day? That would make him one of the oldest individuals in the galaxy. The only imperial servant I know of who is that old is Bjorn the Fell-Handed, who is a dreadnought, and therefore doesnt really count as being "alive" anymore. --Dark Angel 2020 13:57, 10 December 2006 (CET)

I removed it, it doesn't see to have any basis in fact (hmm). Also expanded but not finished.--Jonru 18:50, 26 February 2008 (CET)

Rank

Here on Constantin Valdor it says he was "High Custodian" but on the Council of Terra page it is said he is "Chief Custodian". Anyone have an official word? --Nikolas

Bjorn

There is a fluff discrepancy about what happened to Bjorn: while The Horus Heresy Collected Visions states it is Valdor who cut his arm, Prospero Burns retcons it to Kasper Hawser, see the Bjorn page.--Arthfael 17:38, 22 June 2011 (CEST)

Speculation?

"It appears that Horus comes to the same conclusion far from Terra; suggesting that it was not Dorn, but the Emperor who told Horus of the assassination attempt and they mutually agree to abstain from such tactics"

It's been a while since i've read Nemesis, but this seems a bit speculative. Can anyone remember if there is actually anything in the book suggesting the Emp contacted Horus to form a "No assassins" deal? Doesn't seem right to me. The Lemur 20:13, 14 January 2013 (CET)

From what I recall, they come to the same conclusion (no assassins) but for different reasons. I don't believe Horus contacted or was contacted by any loyalists. I can double check when I get home Odinsgrudge 20:58, 14 January 2013 (CET)
