Why is it specified that he made a bargain with the Chaos Gods?

We know what Horus was told, but not why or for what reasons Emps went into the gate on Moloch... Leonnatus (talk) 23:17, 17 February 2017 (MST)

Discrepancies

The discrepancies section says that the Emperor was too old to be a Hittite, which is correct. However the passage in Master of Mankind (Novel) specifically calls him proto-Hittite. As in a predecessor of the Hittites. This eliminates the original cause of the discrepancies section so I've removed it. I don't consider it that big of a deal so if anyone disagrees just re-add it. The various "shards" and other appearances of the Emperor post-heresy

Should we add a section to compile aspects and shards of the Emperor (and his power)? Like Imperious the Solar Priest, the Figure that appears to Cassian Talasadian, the little girl that saved Guilliman, Sacramentum (the Force Sword that was partially made from the ashes of a manifestation of Imperious), Abbadon (whose eyes have been turned gold due to staring at the Astronomicon and absorbing some of its power), the Emperor's Sword (which contains a shard of his power), etc.?TheNuclearSoldier (talk) 21:30, 28 September 2019 (MDT)

I think we should be quite careful with these "manifestations". I mean of course we can put them in an article, but the text should cling extremely close to what is actually said. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 13:32, 9 October 2019 (MDT)
About the 'little girl' its remained as open topic in the book - who she was. The variants: Saint of Emperor; The Emperor incarnation; Tzeentch mischevious; Daemon who "defend" Guilliman to not give an advantage to Nurgle's power and so on. Even Guilliman himself wasn't sure who or what she was.--Darkelf77 (talk) 03:06, 10 October 2019 (MDT)
The little girl is confirmed in that book, when the forces of Nurgle refer to her power as the Anathema. And one of the greater daemons recognize the power as that of the Emperor.TheNuclearSoldier (talk) 14:51, 31 October 2019 (MDT)
And Battle Sisters also were 'sure' that she was a Daemon or pawn of Chaos Gods to the last moment believing that they were right and she must die. It's specially made by author that every reader have his/her own opinion at the end of the book - who was this girl exactly.--Darkelf77 (talk) 02:40, 1 November 2019 (MDT)

He or he?

There is the eternal question of whether to capitalise the Emperor's pronouns. Generally the page opts not to do so but occasionally it has. Should these capitalised forms be removed? RedInq (talk) 22:37, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

generally speaking I try to use He as it’s considered the proper form of a god. However the lexicanum is not written in-universe perspective so it ultimately can go either way and doesn’t matter, at least to me Harriticus (talk) 00:06, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
What is used in the non-novel sources? --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 13:22, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
Having looked at the 8th edition rulebook, it uses the lower case form repeatedly. Apologies for that. Is there a way to quickly revert to a previous version? I'm happy to undo my edits otherwise. RedInq (talk) 19:27, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
I believe I've brought the page to compliance now. RedInq (talk) 13:22, 1 March 2025 (UTC)
