Fan-Creation? --Inquisitor S. 12:34, 2 September 2006 (CEST)

I believe so. --Orky 10:45 AM, 2 september 2006 (EST)

Yeah, I'll link it to the fan project page when its got more info. --Diadora 07:50, 3 September 2006 (CEST)

Well, I regret to inform you that Fan-made fiction is not allowed here. Only Games-workshop approved material goes on here. You can, however, move the article to your user page (Where all fan-made things go, on their creators user page). You may want to copy the article before the moderators delete it. --Orky 10:52 PM, 4 september 2006 (EST).

I thought i could put this on the fan project page. Oh well, it can be deleted now as I've moved it anyway.--Diadora 06:18, 5 September 2006 (CEST)

Ok, thank you for complying :). Sorry for the inconvieniance. --Orky 1:09 AM 05 September 2006.

I was under the impression that these kind of articles can be made but just have to be categorized under the Fan Projects, why else does the category exist? When placed there, they are also easier to find by others then when they are placed/written in the user-page of the creator and it shows clearly that it is NOT official GW fiction. -- JoeneB, 5 September 2006, 14:41 (CEST)

Eh? Theres a fan project category!? I've never seen that. I shall begin to add information to it now that I know it is there.--Orky, 12:26 September 06 2006.

Jup it's there ;) See Categories page... main category is Hobby. -- JoeneB, 6 September 2006, 13:46 (CEST)

So my page can stay? Can someone read it to see if it clashes with games workshop information please, just for my contentment :) --Diadora 11:41, 7 September 2006 (CEST)

I am of the opinion it can stay, it's categorised as Fan Project so no need to remove it. As far as the article clashing with GW info, I'm not too sure because I myself just started collecting Space Marines (Black Templars) this year and know only what I've read here, in the codex and on the official site.
On point of comment/tip is this: some of the paragraphs you've written are pretty long. I'd put a blank line in it here and there to keep it easier to read otherwise its a huge block of txt to read.
Furthermore, remember I know very little, but your chapter came forth from the Iron Hands, I don't know much about them but how do they view stealthy stuff? If they don't use it, wouldn't your chapter also not use it (as Imperial indoctrination goes very far in my opinion)? But then again, its YOUR chapter and its a Do-it-yourself... so who am I to judge :) -- JoeneB, 7 September 2006, 18:44 (CEST)
Oh, two more things... about Dreadnought Persius. In your history on him, his dying body is handed over to the care of a Techmarine... I think (being a nitpick here I know), he would first be taken care of an Apothecary. Then when it is clear that is injuries are to grave, he is handed over to a techmarine and placed in a dreadnought sarcophagus... Makes more sense to me that a techmarine would do that with the aid of medical servitors but only after an apothecary indicated this being his only chance of survival.
Second... You say the Steelfist legion are the elites etc. Then when stating the battlecries... the steelfist have a different one then the First Company. Now, as far as I know, according to the Codex Astartes, the First Company is comprised of vetran marines and use terminator armour. So I'd say the Steelfist Legion IS the First Company just like Sword Brethren are with the Black Templars... -- JoeneB, 7 September 2006, 19:02 (CEST)
Thank you for reading my article! You are right, the Iron Hands dont like stealthy stuff as far as I know, but one of the ideas of my chapter is that each company is very individual because they recruit seperately and from diferent places, so I thought that if one company was a bit stealthy it wouldnt hurt.
In regard to the Persius comment, I thought that due to the large amount of mechanical alterations the marines undergo the Techmarines would double as the chapters "higher level" medical personel that would perform complicated operations off the battlefield, and the Apothecaries would be the battlefield medics. I think I'll include this into the article... as soon as I have the time to write a combat doctrine secion.
In answer to your second comment, I had invisioned the Steelfist legion as being seperate from the usual ten companies the Codex Astartes states should exist. I suppose this would mean that the chapter is a non-codex chapter, but since there is no official codex for it I field my minatures as a "significantly divergant" chapter instead.
I've changed the battlecry section anyway, but not because the Steelfists are the First Company. --Diadora 06:11, 9 September 2006 (CEST)
Ah I see, I really didn't get that from the article. I thought Steelfist was the first company :) Then again, like I said before, it's YOUR chapter so basically you can do what ever you want ;) Thanks for clearing it up. -- JoeneB, 9 September 2006, 13:08 (CEST)
