The source "White Dwarf 236" should contain which country edition is meant. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 10:26, 29 June 2011 (CEST)

Category + Title

Fast a perfect job, my congratulations Augustmanifesto ;)

IMHO :

  • Shouldn't all the 'SM-Members lists articles' better listed under the Character-category ?
    • For example here under [[Category:Characters (Imperial Fists)| ]] and not under [[Category:Characters (Space Marine)| ]], which brings a little confusion
  • Titles of such list-articles should be also better with a 'standard title' for all factions, I think
    • For example "Known Members of the + Faction", or simply "Characters list (faction)", etc.

Thanks. And thanks for your recent sweep of corrections, it's little details like that I mess up! As for the issues you raise:
  • yes, this page should totally be categorized under Characters (Imperial Fists), thanks for pointing that out, I've corrected this just now :)
  • I agree on a standard title but I don't know enough about how other factions name their character lists pages to comment, unfortunately. I chose the name for this character list page by following the suggestion "known member of the + Faction" given to me by User:mob. He may be a good guy to talk to about this. --augustmanifesto 17:46, 2 July 2011 (CEST)

=>You're welcome. Both the french and the german lexis have already a 'standard-title' in this case, but : first, as a non-regular contributor on this side of the project, I can only point here some subjects of discussions and secondly yes, this descision (the definition of a standard-title) could only be a collective one, and could wait more characters pages created (only 2 I guess for the 22 legions on the Lexi.com). Keep working/learning like that; the Sons of Dorn need some Augustmanifestos here !) --Ackheron 20:14, 2 July 2011 (CEST)
Actually, if you have a suggestion for an alternate name, please feel free to contribute - a good idea is a good idea! From what I can recall the user and I who discussed the creation of these pages picked "Known" and "Members" as we thought they were both simple and avoided contextual problems that alternate words like 'Recorded' and 'Characters' presented. However, like everything, I am happy for the title to be changed to an improvement if one can be found. I also concur on the good work done on this page, and think the others should follow its lead.--Mob 20:26, 2 July 2011 (CEST)

=>Thanks, but I just discovered my mistake : under "Known Members of", I've discovered all the characters list pages I didn't found the last time I completed the interlexi links. IMHO, the most important is to have a 'mark' for the users, which is already done here ; ) I would only add that the category on such pages could be complete like said here a few lines up.
