May I sak who gets included on this list? Do we only include Cadians who were on Cadia itself during the Black Crusade or all Cadians post-999.M41? In the first case, the list would be much shorter than in the latter one, as the novels have confirmed that most living Cadians in M42 are those who had been stationed elsewhere at the time of the fall of Cadia. • Yes all Cadians, even those who were fighting elsewhere. Dram (talk) 15:13, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
Well, maybe "Known survivors of the Fall of Cadia would be a more appropriate page name? --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 17:09, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
Wouldn’t that include non-Cadians who happened to be on Cadia or in the system at the time, though? KazilDarkeye (talk) 18:57, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
That's the question. Should this be a list of all known post-999.M41 Cadians or of all Imperials who fought on Cadia (including, for example, many Space Marines).
In regards to the Cadia-only-solution, I see the problem of this getting very problematic over time. As it currently stands, we have already many non-native Cadians who have become part of Cadian units and are regarded as quasi-Cadians, like Hadeya Etsul. Are these "survivors of Cadia"? What about the children of Cadians? Some stories mention mixed-heritage children and even adopted orphans born before and after the fall of Cadia. Are all of those also "survivors of Cadia"? I think it should only include native and mixed-heritage Cadians, regardless of their age, who were alive when Cadia was destroyed. Cadians who were born after their Homeworld's destruction or non-Cadians who later joined their Regiments, should not be included. Dram (talk) 20:13, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
