Talk:Night Raptors (Chapter)
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
In the case that a source is no longer available via an previously accepted link, would an archive of the page be acceptable as a subsequent source? - Yoshb124 (Talk), 11/2/2022, 16:46 PT
- If an accepted source link is not longer online it is even wished for to replace it with a link to an archived depository. See Help-> Citations. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 09:21, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
- Wayback Machine isn't giving access to the specific page listed- other internet archives don't even have the specific url. Should I quarantine the sourced link, or the whole page? It is the only source after all, and unless someone has a copy to read there's no way to confirm. Yoshb124 (Talk), 11/8/2022, 13:38 PT
- There is a subsection on the Help page on "Citations" how to mark inarchived, now dead links. I do not think it is necessary to quarantine the whole article as the actual source will be the book/publication previewed in the original link. So that has to be checked. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 23:17, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
- Its on page 5 of Psychic Awakening: Saga of the Beast. I only used the website link, since Saga of the Beast had not been released yet when I created the Night Raptors page. Dram (talk) 04:23, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
