Daemonhood Source

Is there a source that discusses Perturabo ascending to daemonhood?

Evidence needed

There are no links to any evidence for thtis page at all. Also, going by my own readings on 40k fluff and source material, the vast majority of what's in this article is made up by the person that wrote it. Please give references for your writings. Will link to http://lex.124811.xyz/wiki/In_House_Sources however I'm not a "purist".... most of the material put in this page has no resource at all - it's been made up on the spot by the person creating the page. Having read the Index Astartes, there is no confirmation of any informtion on this page, and this should be rewritten with source material. Hakster

-- Woah woah, you do not delete the entire article what so ever, that is surely a violation of the rules. Youw ait for it to be discussed. That was rude and disrespectful. Nikolas

Ok I’ve had a check in Index Astartes 1.
  • Section about Youth is accurate. (pg 32)
  • Section about the Great Crusade is accurate (pg 32-34)
  • Section about the Horus Heresy is accurate (pg 34-35)
  • Section about the 'Iron Cage' is accurate (pg 36)

All seems 100% legit to me, I can even give quotes if necessary. Duffs101 02:32, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

I added a bit to the Horus Heresy Section. Added a small bit about the siege weapons given to Perturabo by The Lion at the end of Fallen Angels. -- Tyler 6:15, 12 October 2009

Yeah, but you didn't add footnotes. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 09:14, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

inconsistency

The section about the Forgebreaker seems at odds with the Forgebreaker article: how could Horus give Perturabo the hammer before the Dropsit Massacre, if he himself only got it from demon Fulgrim at the end of said massacre?

Because Horus had it in the first place and just got it back from Fulgrim? --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 15:48, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

From the Horus heresy books, we can reconstruct the following: Fulgrim makes Forgebreaker, gives it to Ferrus Manus, Fulgrim betrays Ferrus and steals the hammer from him, then daemon-possessed Fulgrim gives the hammer to Horus at the end of the dropsite massacre. Hence, Horus only had it after the dropsite, that is after the events on Olympia. Thus, he could not have given it to Perturabo before the Olympia events. It is likely that thus Horus only gave the hammer to Perturabo after the genocide on Olympia and the dropsite massacre, not to secure his loyalty but to reward his betrayal. Also, I find the story about the weapon having been corrupted by Chaos weird, seeing that the Forgebreaker article states it is "one of the most prized artifacts of the Horus Heresy": from an imperial POV, it means it can't be Chaos-infused. --Arthfael 19:28, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
