dawn of war books
I don't have the books, so does anyone have any names? Need to fix the spelling, grammar and change voice too. Th232 05:08, 9 February 2008 (CET)
- I don't have those books either, but I didn't think any Space Marines had that sort of memory...--Jonru 11:34, 9 February 2008 (CET)
i use to have the books so that why i put it down and i also herd it from some were its a small mutation in their gene seed that give them the ability to remember everything and it also has something to do with the high amount of psykers in the chapter emperorspartan
- Well, I'm not sure on the protocol for this, but I'd say we keep that info out until someone with the books can give us the proper source. Oh, BTW, while I appreciate your additions, would it be possible for you to work on your spelling and grammar before posting? Th232 14:20, 9 February 2008 (CET)
o sorry about that im in a hurry when i right these things really im sorry ill work at it
- Much appreciated, thanks. Th232 01:50, 10 February 2008 (CET)
- If you want personal opinion of the Dow books, they make almost as bad reading material as they do toliet paper. Raiding the Black Library and what not. C.S. Goto had high ambitions, but he failed. And some of it's not his fault, the computer people are almsot as much to blame as he is. I would ignore everythign in the trilogy and up coming omnibus. NeCoHo
well damn the those code moneys and is anybody looking forward to Dawn of war II emperorspartan
Isn't Gene-Seed created? If I remember correctly there are two places in the Imperium that are capable of producing it, and the Iron Warriors raided one. That explains why the Chapters haven't been wiped out, in my opinion. Abaddon plays Starcraft...we all know that. 19:49, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
Salamanders
The one thing this article forgets to include is the fact that the Salamanders Chapter has a gene flaw too, mainly being their melanochrome making them Onyx black as well as having Bright red eyes (indicated by the book Salamanders)
Edit: It appears that the Melanochrome gland was removed in Edition 5, but they still explained it as such in Salamanders
Chapters with known gene-seed flaws
This section doesn't really have anything to do with progenoid glands specifically - perhaps this section (or the whole page) should be moved/merged with a "gene-seed" page, any thoughts? Thelemur 00:46, 18 December 2011 (CET)
- Currently there is no separate page for gene-seed, and "Gene-seed" redirects to this page; I'm not sure I see the purpose of creating a separate page, but how would it be different from this one?--Proteus77 01:43, 18 December 2011 (CET)
- The purpose would be to have the relevant info on the correct page, the difference between a "Gene-seed" page and this one is that it would hold info on all 19 types of gene-seed rather than just one. For example, the geneseed section of the Imperial Fists page talks about the Betcher's Gland and the Sus-an Membrane, but the "gene-seed" link sends the reader to the Progenoid page, which has no info on either of these organs. I would suggest changing the re-direct for geneseed either to the Creation of a Space Marine page or to a new "Gene-seed" page that would list all the info about all 19 organs; and that the "Chapters with known gene-seed flaws" info would be far more relevant on one of these pages as it has nothing to do with Progenoids per-se (other than the fact that the flaws are presumably carried through the progenoids).
