Talk:Silver Skulls

The section that was described in the notes saying how Unremembered Empire gave clues to the origins of the Silver Skulls is falsified. The Ultramarines Company was already stationed on Sotha to protect the Pharos device, not to act as an honor guard to Dantioch. They wore the symbol of scythes in honor of the farmers who lived on Sotha. They never adopted the Skull that Dantioch wore as a mask. And the scouts' "precognition" was nothing more than visions given to them by the Pharos device, which was a xenos device that emitted an empathic field. I have removed the offending material. No, you removed some of the offending material. You forgot to remove the citation in the sources.--Proteus77 22:54, 26 November 2013 (CET)

The Triva section

Under the Triva part it's stated "combined with the ambiguous origins of their geneseed" but no Sources is given for this statement, do anybody know what it's referring to? If not do I think it should be removed. Also, this part "The Silver Skull's destroying their own homeworld, to deny it's use by the enemy, was a signature tactic used by Dantioch." feels like it could be cut since destroying worlds to deny their use by the enemy is standard tactic by the Imperium. And maybe we should ad that Sarah Cawkwell, who is the author behind most Silver Skulls stuff, have stated that they are not IW successors and was told so by GW since she originally planned to have them as White Scars successors, she seems to have done this many times but here is a link to one of the latest https://twitter.com/pyroriffic/status/1530544080614301697 -- Gamiel (talk)

After quickly skimming the whole trivia section I find it highly problematic and at least borderline speculative to not say far-fetched. The same "conclusions" could probably be drawn for other Space Marine chapters if I were to guess. The Sarah Cawkwell stuff could maybe be worth mentioning if it is clearly stated that those are non-confirmed/ sanctioned infos. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 19:32, 15 September 2022 (UTC)
Have removed the old Triva section with Iron Warrior gene-seed origin speculation, and added a new one where it's mentioned that Sarah Cawkwell originally planed to have them as White Scars successors. Gamiel (talk) 11:50 26 november 2022 (CET)
