Talk:Soulspear

Following from removal of duplicated info, this is the sentence that wasn't the same.

"Later the Soul Drinkers recovered the Soulspear. It was subsequently used by Sarpedon to slay Abraxis, a demon of Tzeentch."

Can anyone confirm or deny this, since I don't have the series?

I'd have to check it to be certain, but I read the novel and believe this is correct. I'm at work at the moment so I'll check back later. -- JoeneB, 25 May 2007, 15:25 (CEST)
So it was used to slay both Abraxis and Ve'Meth? Thanks for the clarification. Th232 15:39, 25 May 2007 (CEST)
The Soulspear was used only at the end of the first novel when Sarpedon slayed Abraxez, as the demon himself presented the Soulspear to the Chapter Master. Before that the Souldrinkers destroyed the demon Ve'meth, but without the use of the Soulspear. The weapon was also used a second time in the second Souldrinkers novel, but i don't recall the name of the demon from that particular batttle
I can confirm the part about Abraxes (this is how it's/his name is spelled in the novel)... I only have the first novel and just checked. Also changed the article accordingly -- JoeneB, 25 May 2007, 17:57 (CEST)
Yeah, Abraxes is the Architect of Fate that sways that foolish human preacher who causes the enitre Chapter to worship him as the Emperor. But what never made sense to me is, how can a Librarian like Sarpedon not make the connection between that name and how it is directly attributed to Tzeentch?- Ithakan, January 26th, 2011. 9:45 AM (EST)
